the SKATERY (Pillow) Roller Skating RInk
• Operator: Don & Roberta Molaro[2]
• Pro/Coach: Don & Roberta Molaro[2]
• Organist: Marty Dumic[3]
• Floor type: Maple wood.[6]
• Floor size: 150' x 72'[4]
• Primary reason for closing: Retirement[2]
• Opened: 1988 - 2014[2]
"On August 31, 1988, we closed the rink for 10 weeks to install the maple floor which had been bought from a rink in Connecticut that was going out of business and to make some cosmetic changes. The original decor was rustic Western. We wanted something more cozy and nostalgic so we added some stained glass effects."
